Timor Sea
In 2018, DGI had a small crew on the ConocoPhillips Bayu-Undan Oil Rig in the Timor Sea, conducting repair work during a shut down.
Project Background
Bayu-Undan is a remote offshore facility comprising of a Central Production and Processing complex (CPP) with two platforms, one for Drilling, Production and Processing (DPP) and the other for Compression, Utilities and Quarters (CUQ), a Floating, Storage and Offloading facility (FSO) and an un-manned wellhead platform. A 500-kilometre pipeline supplies the 3.7 million tons per annum of gas from Bayu-Undan to Darwin for processing, where it is then loaded for transport internationally.
